News: We've just set up an outdoor space for everyone's safety. If you'd like to try on a skirt or two (no shame) or browse some mittens or anything else, we'll gladly set you up outside. Free hand sanitizer, limit of one visitor at a time and face masks will help keep us all safe. For the next few weeks we'll have limited outdoor hours: T-F 1-7 pm and Sat/Sun 1-5 pm. Call or text upon arrival 780.233. 2448
In late November 2013, we began sewing mittens as a fund raiser for a once in a lifetime charity bike ride the following year. We reached our goal of $10,000, and then rode 1800 kms home from Haida Gwai, BC with a custom carved totem pole, which you can now see at the Stollery Children's Hospital. The demand for these mittens and the amount of fun we had creating these little works of art moved us, literally, and after much deliberation, we created the jj wool company!
Since the beginning we have supported local youth initiatives. Currently, $10 from every pair of mittens sold will be donated to CASA, a provider of mental health services for infants, children, adolescents and their families.

We have decided to withdraw from markets for the next little while. Once it is deemed safe, we will gladly pop up all over the place!! Stay tuned.
